The suspense looming over 3 Idiots Tamil remake as Moovar/Telugu remake as 3 Rascals is over.But it is almost confirmed that Vijay is out of this project. On the other hand, Mahesh Babu who is supposed to play main lead in Telugu version too backed out of it.,

After the two Superstar’s out, Shankar strtd searching for an apt replacement that will fit into Telugu and Tamil remakes. As per the latest updates, Shankar signed Surya for this bilingual.
Sources said Shankar confirmed Actor SURYA for 3 Idiots Tamil & Telugu Remake. Shankar thought surya will apt for both languages.
